Hello dr. cb,

I don't know what sounds excellent, but I contribute it
to Zakir Hussein, John McLaughlin and Cindy Lauper.
The version of Cindy Lauper of "Don't let me be misunderstood" is in my ears
much better than
the one of Cat Stevens on his new album "another cup".

The film of the Lyre bird is indeed very instructive.
Her the "ritournelle" is the imitation of other bird or noises.
It seems to exceed the abilities of parrots a lot.
The "function" of the ritournelle as inviting sexual partners and defending
the territory was affirmed by David Attenborough.
It is a "post modern" bird, seducing by citation.

BWO AND STRIVE TO DEATH

As you seem to be firm in neurobiology you could be so kind to
explain the relation of the body without organs, which in my eyes is the
total functioning of the brain as a whole regardless its division
in part functions by directing organs including the consciousness,
and the "drive to death" or self destruction.
This is hold by Deleuze and Guattari in case of schizophrenia related to
catatonia and stupor.

As you know the "drive to death" is one of the most
attacked notions of Freud, the prominent role of
the sexuality is almost not so controversy and much more commonly admitted.

I did not found any real affirmation or confirmation of that self
destructive tendencies
on a neurobiological level.

Do you know something about it?

greetings Harald Wenk
