Subject: [D-G] Bergson's Secret Gypsy Admirer

In his essay on false recognition, Bergson references Ludwig Klages. Yet, the English translation of False Recognition omits=A0the Klages passage. Klages, a disciple of N,=A0worked for the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute. Since he was also interested in blue eyes and Gypsy twins, one may wish to take notice when Klages' book on handwriting analysis goes nomadic in 2007 from the main library of Indiana University to end up in the Kinsey Institute library. Undoubtedly by now, it has been translated from the original German. Are we to look for a Handwriting Analysis 101 course any time soon? Klage's translation will likely remain esoteric for some time. Curious it is, that thousands of books disappear in three dimensions while secret judges will decide whose handwriting most mimics the leg and antennae=A0movements of mating cynipids. The street-sweeper takes notice: every keystroke will be documented in the attempt to reach the books on fire in the crematorium (yet
never actually consumed). The peek into the crematorium will be recorded and attached to the DNA, for eternity.
