There's a passage in Feyerabend's 'Concluding Unphilosophical Conversation' 
(in Gonzalo Munevar (ed.), _Beyond Reason: Essays on the Philosophy of Paul 
Feyerabend_ (Dordrecht: Kluwer, 1991)), where he discusses Churchland (see 
pp.517). The most important thing participant 'B' says is

"Do I accept the theses Churchland abstracts from my earlier work? Yes, all 
of them.... with the possible exception of 2: the essence of commonsense may 
be *displaced* by materialism (in the sense of Churchland) but it is not 
therefore *worse* (in an objective sense) than materialism".
