Subject: [Puptcrit] Memorial Event for Caleb Fullam

Hi to our friends on the list,

I know I posted a similar message a while ago but several folks who knew Caleb said they did not see it. Perhaps I sent it around the time the list was changing servers. In any event, in the interest of making sure everyone who is interested hears about this, I am reposting. Thanks for your patience.

. . . . . . . . . . .

As most of you know, our friend and colleague Caleb Fullam succumbed to
cancer in late October. We hope you can join us for:

know about it. Thanks.

Performance challenge

On one of my visits with Caleb a little more than a week before he died,
Caleb was telling me about a book he loved, "The English Eccentrics" by
Edith Sitwell, written in 1957. "Just look at the chapter titles" he
directed, pointing his finger in the direction of a well-stocked bookshelf.
It was clear that any of these could inspire a great small PuppetSLAM type
piece, and it immediately occurred to me that friends might enjoy creating
one as a small final tribute to or remembrance of Caleb.
Here they are:

'Goose Weather'
Ancients and Ornamental Hermits
Quacks and Alchemists
Some Sportsmen
Some Amateurs of Fashion
An Observer of Human Nature
Portrait of a 'Learned Lady'
Some Men of Learning
Some Travellers
Charles Waterton
The God of This World
Of the Benefits of Posthumous Fame
More Pliant Beings
Of Revelations, Courteous and Otherwise, and of Admirable Removals
Weathercock Wits
Serious Circles
Marine Adventures (Piracy and Piety)
