I also have a Jenome and I highly recommend it. I think Jenome is a subsiduary of Bernina. I bought mine on special last year (did a search on one of those online price-comparison sites) with free shipping for about $300, which is really a good deal for such a great machine. Some of the features I liked are the extra-height allowance for the pedal (great for furs), the reverse stitching, the ability to slow down or speed up the sewing with the pedal for intricate maneuvers, among others. Jenome is the way to go. It's light and i can take it places with me when I go to workshops or working both at home or in a studio.
