THEATRE-FILM-COMIC AID: FOR TSUNAMI DISASTER 

The greatest disaster that we have seen in recent history. A cataclysmic event that has already taken the lives of 80,000 people. Many more will be victims of disease and pestilence. 

"I propose that all theater companies, cinemas, film-festivals and screenings across the globe join together by donating proceeds from their Friday, January 7, 2005 performances to aid the relief efforts. I also propose that all comic book stores across the globe accept donations on January 7, 2005 to forward to one of the relief organizations." 

Green Theatre Productions will be happy to produce a play reading on this evening at a donated venue or we will use one of our rehearsal spaces. We encourage all companies to produce some sort of event or reading if no production is scheduled for this day/night. 



 Rik Deskin is the Manager of Rain City Comics and Artistic Director of Green Theatre Productions.


 Green Theatre Productions is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit production company whose mission is to raise environmental and social awareness through theatre & media.


 Thus far 2 companies nationally have pledged to perform readings on January 7th:
