The second show which Dmitri speaks of is called "Maiden Pearl" and the  
other puppeteers who performed with them are Lance Woolen and Kris  Bluett-Woolen. 
This show was performed at the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts  during the 
summer of 2002.
 
We in Portland (Oregon) are very happy for Zheng Li Xu (Rocky), Yu Qin Wang  
and Brenda. They are fine craftspeople and true artists in performance. I've  
seen them perform several times, and I am amazed at how they can make a very  
complicated or difficult manipulation appear simple- things perhaps often not  
noticed by non-puppeteers who are simply entranced by the movement and 
spectacle  before them. 
 
They certainly deserve the NEA Heritage Fellowship and the honor which  
accompanies it.
