Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2005 05:00:03 -0800 (PST) From: Kerry Faraone <kerryfaraone-AT-yahoo.com> Subject: RE: [Puptcrit] NCLB To: puptcrit-driftline.org-AT-lists.driftline.org Mary, my husband has just gone back to teaching here in No Va. after 25 yrs in the business world...he chose 9th Grade Special Ed since there were no openings in his Masters area of English...I dont think he's done any real teaching yet this year...it's all paperwork and baloney...I have followed the discussion in here with great enthusiasm, I thought I was the only one who shook my head daily!!!! and they always have their hands out for donations and luncheons , etc....2 Fridays ago...I had to scramble 6 dozen eggs and ham....into a disposable aluminum foil container...wrapped to keep warm for a breakfast for 50 people...I've also weekly "donated" Costco packs of paper...pens....Tootsie Roll Pops....etc...we're hoping to break even with the school district soon...I dont know how most teachers can afford to live...I'd like to see No Teachers Left Behind as a top priority!!!!!
