If I was a few years younger and looking for customers then I would certainly have been into Paypal long before now. I am in my seventies and will be planning to take my second retirement before too long. Wrapping parcels seems even more labour intensive as you have less time. The intention of my book service is to bring to the notice of puppeteers new books as they come out and to carry a small stock should they want to buy them from me, which helps to supplement my state pension. If there are some people who can only pay by Paypal then I would propose that they look at my website anyway, read the information and then buy from someone who does have that means of processing. I do know that there are people who do just that, which is fine. If the books are not available elsewhere then hopefully they will be able to find a friend who will purchase on their behalf - and some people do that too. I'm sorry I am not planning on extending the service, in fact the reverse. The new David Currell Book certainly IS available - well in the UK anyway. You can read about and order "MAKING & MANIPULATING MARIONETTES" at www.puppetbooks.co.uk . Suffice it to say that a large proportion of this new book is devoted to specialised trick figures. The price is =A325.00, shipping in the UK is =A33.80, to Europe =A34.80, elsewhere =A39.17. To convert to any currency you can go to www.xe.com/ucc Best wishes Ray DaSilva Ray: When will you set up with paypal? There are several books I wish to obtain from you But cannot due to seeing no paypal notice. There are over 60 million paypal members worldwide, and their fees to you would be equal to or even less then the fees per purchase on a credit card merchant account (averages 3% on a sale), you would have instant payment in sterling or BP which you can transfer to your account daily(free) and you grab the customers while they are hot, Regards, Mark _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org
