Subject: [Puptcrit] Performer needed in Philly area


Hey all,

I am looking for a performer to learn and and pick up one scheduled
booking and all additional bookings of our
production of "Ananse and the Sky God" for the season.  One of my
performers had a major family emergency
which has taken them off the roster.

The part this performer would learn is Ananse.  This is not a
complicated part even though it is the title roll.  Anyone with any
puppet experience should be able to pick the roll up within two to three
rehearsal.
The performance which is booked that I need filled is March 11 -AT- 10 am
with a possible second performance
-AT- 1 pm (This is a self produced educational series being performed in
Lansdowne) .  Rehearsals are, unfortunately, unpaid. The booked date
would be a guaranteed $70,  more if we have a second school come in  in
the afternoon.
All other hires will be $90 for the first performance and $125 for two
performances on the same day in the same space.

This performer would then be offered the opportunity to remain on our
performance roster for Ananse bookings should they
work out well for this season's run.
