At the risk of seeming like the PofA mom...

I just want to remind everyone here that the PofA bookstore is one of the
offered services of a volunteer organization. This isn't some fancy store
with a huge staff that has nothing better to do than make sure everyone can
pay in every possible way. It's the good folks at Nancy Smith's Great
Arizona Puppet Theatre who take time (and space) away from running their
very busy theatre to offer this service to folks like us.

If someone thinks the store should take PayPal, then they should consider
volunteering to be on a committee that investigates whether or not its
feasible for this particular little operation, and then help to put the plan
into effect if it is. That's how things get accomplished. The puppeteers
who wanted there to be liability insurance for puppet companies worked on it
until it happened. Those who thought we should have consultants worked to
set up that system. Those who saw a need for the job board put it together.
And those of us who've volunteered our time to the organization have been
the richer for it.

In a volunteer organization, kvetching isn't the most effective way to make
things happen.

Karen
