As old-time science fiction fans know, "Waldo" as a term for tele-operating derives from Robert Heinlein's 1942 novella of the same title. It was used as early as the '50s to describe analog manipulators. If anyone has rights to the term, it's the Heinlein estate. ====For reviews by Will Stackman, go to ON THE AISLE at http://profwill.spymac.net __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
