I just thought it was a funny way of comparing puppet shows with an unecessary disaster.
I'd like to meet this Mr. Snicket and bring him (kicking and screaming won't help his case) to a good puppet show.

Ooh, and this "can occur at any time, without any warning".... wow. So right. I dream of a puppet show in a suitcase I could set up anywhere. Working on it mentally anyhow.
