Dear Bob and others.
   I have two "black theater" programs requiring total darkness.   Many 
schools simply cannot supply the totally dark environment.   One possible way 
around it is to erect a black velvet backdrop curtain...from a cross bar mounted on 
two tripods....say, about 16-20 ft across and 8-9 ft high. Work in front of 
the black backdrop...maybe even erect to side legs as well...   by wearing 
total black, you will be almost invisible...maybe not in-advisable, but it's worth 
some experimenting.   I'm amazed at how the audience cannot see me, even in 
twilight coniditions.   Jim Gamble
