Subject: [Puptcrit] Realistic snakes


My favorite realistic snakes are the wooden ones found
in Chinese stores, not the old links kind but the less
flexible ones that uses shaped wooden pieces strung
together like beads.  A big one made this way would be
heavy.  You could probably sculpt sections from rigid
foam using a bandsaw and use a cloth covered length of
foam backer rod (found in masonry supplies) as a
spine.  I just saw some two footers at IParty.
