Subject: [Puptcrit] POA 2007


As you state the majority of folks are on the coasts, so it doesn't 
make sense to me that one site is chosen for ever.... better to rotate 
east/west/and a middle,  so that local puppeteers can have bragging 
rights to publicity and the same group isn't trying to fly their 
puppets across the country each time.    Someone in charge of the 
festivals...  who keeps the who/what/when /where booklet  should be 
appointed/elected?  no matter where he/she is located.    Maybe a site 
like BrynMaur in PA is great for the East Coast and there could be a 
West coast favorite location that has been used in the past...I don't 
know as I've never made it to one of the festivals due to $$$.
