One of my shows, "Tales of Shabbat," which focuses on the delights of the
Sabbath, is aimed at audiences in Hebrew schools, synagogues, and Jewish
centers. The three tales in the show reflect custom and practice rather than
belief, although one of them, actually a presentation of my own book "Annie's
Shabbat," touches on the notion of God when it brings up the creation story and
the story of the manna. Both of these Biblical stories are used to suggest
the historical context of the Sabbath rather than the religious. Although my
audiences are quite comfortable with religious reference, I am less so, though
I am quite enthusiastic about joyful, healthful, and humane custom and
practice.

On another ethnicity, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix an Indonesian
rod puppet whose arm has come off - the meager twine has frayed. Thank you.
