Hi Daniel,
    Wow!   My computer screen was smoking after I read your reply.  My wife 
always told me that puppetry was a sexy field.  After reading about all that 
wiggling, stroking and insertions, I think she was right.
     The hum stays constant on all channels, whether it is an RCA mini-plug 
or a 1/4 inch connection.  I have tried wiggling (the plugs as well as myself) 
but the hum stays constant.  I think I will need to take it to a pro when I 
return to the land I like to call Florida.  I am presently in NY performing a 
week of library shows.  Thanks again for your speedy reply.
