From the Animal Makers mold department: Silicone jackets are preferable for inner mold walls. Or a finer grained rock, like ultracal, if the mold must have a porous wall. When mixing, don't "whip" it. Just mix it. Plaster itself is really not suitable for much of anything in mold making.
