Subject: [Puptcrit] Casting water clear Urethane?


I have been comissioned to create a series of "glass" rod puppets for a production to compliment a series of wooden rod puppets I made for a previous production (whats next, Stainless Steel?....yum!)
Has any one had experience at casting waterclear urethane? My plug making is...well...liberal, will abberations polish out readily? How much polishing will they need anyway? What is the least intrusive way to make joints? Any tips?
