Oh, I get to a few festivals here and there, including some puppetry ones
but we have a saying........The best way to see Minneapolis is from 40,000
feet while on your way to Paris......sorry I just love that line (and given
a choice. . .Minneapolis or Paris in June. . . . . what would YOU
take?)..and yes that is why I made it clear that my remarks were founded on
discussions on the list, Of course i would be disturbed if PofA WASNT
hitting the mark with most patrons but it does sound like there is a fair
bit of discouragement in the ranks......shouldn't this list be reflecting
the demographic that PofA represents? And if people are making comments
regarding an event being family unfriendly then IT IS NOT a festival in the
accepted sense of the word...unless its an "adult Festival".......but of
course when your an organiser there is ALWAYS some one who could of done the
job better...until that job has a vacancy!!!!!!!
