I tried seaching the list archives, but to no avail. Could somebody please me 
the period when Frank Paris was most active (30s and 40s would seem to be the 
answer), when he started doing his short-strung, in full view of the audience, 
cabaret-style shows, and point me in the direction of a few more resources on
