Subject: [Puptcrit] The piper at the gates of dawn

Not to forget the first album released by Pink Floyd! I think Van Morrison also had a song of the same title...in this instance it comes from the classic literary work "Wind in the Willows" and I believe refers to Pan....? Perhaps the Pied Piper was actually a psuedonym for Pan? to protect the story from the Christian censors?....Maybe Pan as the Pied Piper led the children to a pageanistic enlightenment that was at odds with their parents Roman Catholic values?
