Subject: [Puptcrit] It's a Business

Just had to respond to Susan of Mountain Marionettes.............as her
comments sound "spot on" to me. It's a business...... or if you want it to
be one...... then plan and treat it as one. As I read Susan's well written
respone, I couldn't help but think, if I removed the puppetteer theme and
replaced it with most any other endeavor, then everything still holds true.

Although not a puppetter, I enjoy reading the various posts from time to
time. And very impressed as to the greater puppet worlds willingness to help
one another on all fronts. From my world of textiles and thermoplastic types
(originally from the mfg/development side and now sales/marketing), this is
something I view as quite refreshing.

The use of some our heat activated products (Wonderflex and Fosshape) have
found there way into puppetry and although not a large market segment, I
like the info sharing aspects. And as I like to say, "we don't sell much,
but have a lot of fun".
