Subject: [Puptcrit] PSW / PNW Regional Festival


The PofA Pacific Southwest and Pacific Northwest Regions will be 
holding their combination regional festival from August 4 to 7, 2006 
at the University of Puget Sound, located near Tacoma, Washington. 
The team is headed by the venerable Jean Mattson.  The staff includes 
other folks who worked on the 1999 Seattle festival, including Jean 
Enticknap and Jim Hawkins.

The Festival Study Committee recommended that the eight regions 
combine their regional festivals, and it looks like this is coming 
about naturally. Strength in numbers! A tri-regional festival on the 
East Coast, a bi-regional festival in the middle (in Canada) and a 
bi-regional in the West.  Makes sense to me.
