Andrew,

What draws me to puppetry is the fact that it is the amalgamation of all 
art. It is sculpting, painting, story telling, choreography, costuming, set 
design, acting, singing... and the list goes on and on. Puppetry also has 
this wonderful mechanical quality to it no other art form has. Trying to 
figure out how to move something is sometimes a thrilling challenge.

So, this doesn't really answer your question other than to say, "Yes, 
puppetry fits all four of those categories."... Sorry, I couldn't help more.
