It is sculpting, painting, story telling, choreography, costuming, set design, acting, singing... and the list goes on and on. Puppetry also has this wonderful mechanical quality to it no other art form has. Trying to figure out how to move something is sometimes a thrilling challenge. So, this doesn't really answer your question other than to say, "Yes, puppetry fits all four of those categories."... Sorry, I couldn't help more. :) Brett Brett Roberts Productions http://DFWentertainer.com For promotional pictures please go to http://brettrobertsproductions.itgo.com >From: Andrew Young <beartown-AT-bear-town.com> >Reply-To: puptcrit-driftline.org-AT-lists.driftline.org >To: puptcrit-driftline.org-AT-lists.driftline.org >Subject: [Puptcrit] Four Tribes: A Question For List >Date: Wed, 10 Aug 2005 04:06:42 -0400 > >Comics Theorist Scott McCloud (whose comics-focused theories I have found >surprisingly appropriate for puppetry as well) has what he calls his "evil >theory": The Four Tribes.
