I'm sorry if my email I sent out sounded like a condemnation. It was not. I too have a few puppets (not whole shows) that have been passed on to me. I think it is sad that the show and puppets part from their creator but a good future thing that they'll continue to be used. I thought about things like that as I wandered through the exhibit at the Festival. It was wonderful to look at the puppets there, but I wondered if they were also used for performance from time to time. I'd like to think that they are. Do you think the puppets and the shows that you've adopted will one day feel like your own? I've used other people's puppets in performance and have had mixed feelings about giving them back. Then again it isn't like my creations are so well treated. They end up here and there, scattered around the house and at times even recycled into other creations. The asking price seems reasonable to me, considering that everything must have been hand made over a period of years. I too hope that they find good homes and continued usage.
