Subject: [Puptcrit] international puppet films

hello group!

I have a question to pose:

Which countries, with long traditions of puppetry, are
transitioning their respective art forms to modern
film?

For example,

Pili puppets.

The reason I ask is because I want to research the
transition of ancient art forms within modern society.
To see how ancient puppet performance styles can be
used in filmmaking.

any ideas?

Thanks!

Yvette
