Subject: [Puptcrit] Jurkowski


My dear fellow Critters,


Does anybody know if Henryk Jurkowski ever a practitioner? Obviously, I have 
read a number of his historical and theoretical works, but I've always 
wondered if was ever a puppet theatre artist himself. Not that he needs to be, 
of course! It's just that so many writers on the art form (Baird, our John 
Bell, Steve Tillis, etc.) are or were practitioners at some stage.
