Neoprene can be ordered fromL: Spartan Adhesives and Coatings. (also known as
Chicago Latex) 345 E. Terra Cotta Ave. Cyrstal Lake, Il 60039, Tel
800-435-5700.

Don't order it in winter time if it might freeze..You can order flexible,
semi flex or ridgid. You might try mixing synthetic neoprene with latex for
more flexibility. You can sand neoprene, more difficult to sand latex. To
extend the life af a finished neoprene piece, coat it with gesso and paint...and
then spray with clear coating...Some of my neoprene puppets are over 30 years
old and still in good shape.

I have a video, we made for a PofA Festival workshop many years ago, and now
have it on DVD. It's home shot, full of some funny bits where things are not
going well. But it explains in detail how to use the stuff. Greg Ballora
helped with that video...probably 20 years ago...If you want a copy, contact me
personally. The Puppetry Store might still have some copies also.
