Jim,

Cementex is a company that manufactures a wide range of casting and molding 
products.  The company is based in lower Manhattan, NY.  The web site is

I use the L2000 (prevulcanized latex) and the #64 Filler (clay).  These can 
be mixed in various ratios.  The more latex, the more plyable.  The more 
filler, the more rigid.  I use a 1:1 ratio.

Basically, the procedure is similar to neoprene - the final result just 
about the same.  I have puppets made from Cementex that are 25 years old and 
none have deteriorated.
