I plan to purchase one for use in a new show. I learned that, as with any complicated piece of equipment, there are several types of technology in use, many features to consider, and a wide range of prices. All of these affect the ultimate quality of the projected image. Resolution, lamp brightness, contrast, and LCD vs DLP technology are some of the most important considerations. A good informational web site is http://www.projectorcentral.com/home.cfm . There you can learn more about what's available, what the various features and technologies are, and what type of projector will best fit your needs. Their "Find Projectors" page will take you to reviews of current models, as well as provide links to explanations of important terms and features. Regards, Diane http://www.freshwaterpearlspuppetry.com |The only glitch is that most models I've seen in schools aren't that great |at relaying detail in highly lit areas of the images. Highlights look white. |There must be better equipement out there. | | _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
