Dear Susan,
  I would be very wary of this project.  Most people think they can write a 
script and if a puppet "says" the lines, it will be funny, etc.  This is not 
the case.  Scripts written by non-puppeteers are often completely unusable..you 
may have to re-write the whole thing just to make it palatable.  I've been 
pulled into these types of projects for trade shows, anniversaries, etc.  I've 
placed my own professional reputation on doing this kind of project and was 
always sorry I accepted the job.  It would not matter how much they paid, if you 
felt embarrassed or ashamed of the final quality of your work, the audience 
would feel the same.  Jim Gamble

BUT If you must do it, figure your time, double it, then multiply by your 
artist rate....$30, 50-100 per hour.  JG
