Hi Donna,

Yes there is usually a store at the regional festivals. And we will have
some kind of store here in Asheville also. The commission is usually 20%.
You would have to ask people that have actually put their puppets into the
store to know how well they sell. From my obsorvation, those that are on
the lower end price wise sell better then the higher end marionettes.

Asheville is going to be a great festival with many performances and 35 to
40 workshops covering almost anything you want to know about puppetry.

I hope to see you here in Asheville July 19 - 23, 2006 for The East Coast
SuperSonic Puppet Festival. If you have any questions, please feel free to
e-mail me at And remember, we always need volunteers.

have been to some of the larger festivals in the past. They sure are great.
I make puppets for a living and am aspiring to become a puppeteer. I would
like to attend The Ashville event and would be hopeful also there will be a
way to sell my work ,as there have been at the other events. Thanks very
much ,Donna Marbet
