Subject: [Puptcrit] Another query re shadow screen construction


Have been reading with great interest the technical discussion around Shadow
Screens. We are planning to make a large collapsible one for our mid-winter
rural outdoor festival venue. I was wondering if I should be looking for
scrim or an equivalent fabric in very wide lengths - to avoid the problem of
centre seams - or if there were other solutions to this problem using
narrower widths [cheaper, easier to find] or other kinds of [less-expensive]
material that would serve.

Would like to be able to roll it up and store it away for use at other
times.

Any suggestions welcome!
