Subject: [Puptcrit] puppets for auction

Dear Critters:
Forgive me if this is the second time you have seen this. I question
whether the first one made it through with the pictures attached as it
never showed up in my email.
You can read the person's email below to see what it is about. If you
are interested, send me your personal email address and I will forward
the jpgs that she sent to me. There are 19 in all. Or go ahead and
contact them directly through the information given below.

>Hello,

>Thank you for looking into the puppet makers for us. I was able to
have someone translate partially the writing on the back of one >of the
scenery panels; it is a goodbye from Long Island NY 1944 that the puppet
show can't go on. It talks about the souls of the >puppets how they need
to speak and play but can no longer and how it is best something* (can't
read) needs to happen but can't. I>t is a lament and a testament to the
life of this show.

>Apparently the puppets were made for the Vilida's (the name that I
provided you which I mistook for the makers) by Ida & Willy >Gieser or
Giesen. Another name I noticed was Karl Herbert. I've attached some
additional photos. Thank you kindly for your >assistance-I wish that I
could keep these myself, but I have a good feeling that they will find a
place where they can speak once >again.

>I've taken more photos of the set as we were loading it onto our van to
deliver to Brunk auction in Asheville, NC tomorrow. I believe >Andrew
Brunk will broker a private sale should you know of anyone interested
their phone number is 828 254-6846. The set >appears complete-everything
from approx. 27 puppets, scenery painted on both sides with different
scenes, a tremendous amount
>of props, lighting, costumes. I appreciate the time that you took in
looking at the photos and wish you the best.

>Kind Regards,
