i've gotten a hold of this puptcrit org. looking for some information about these two very old puppets that i have .  marionettes i guess they are , the strings are way messed up and i hav been getting e\mail telling me that i should just cut the strings and re string these two mexicans' the problem is the strings are so tied in knots, my fingers and eyes are quite pooor. i don't want to cut anytheing and then not be able to find the other end because of the knots. isn't their a rule of thumb when it comes to threading from the cross kukp on top to a leg or an arm? is their any way i can get a pictkure  of a marionette, just to see how the strings are laid out? can u offer me a book to pick up from thes lib rary to give me some information? i wouold appreciate any help you can give me and thanks very much. good-day donnafresh, 3-d

I just had to comment on this... I purchase a lot (too many) puppetry books 
from Ebay.  The other day I saw a copy of Jero Magon's book with a low 
starting price.  I thought to myself, let me keep my eye on this one.  Well 
with over a day to go on the auction it is already priced higher that a new
