Shot by Ian Holm as Napoleon, the poor Puppeteer cut off mid-show is the UK's famous John Styles.

"Time Bandits" is also directed by Terry Gilliam and was written by Gilliam
and Michael Palin. It features a brief scene that includes a street theatre
puppet booth. It's been some time since I've seen the movie, but as I recall,
the
scene is in the part where the Time Bandits find themselves in the midst of
the French revolution (Time travel is the premise of the movie.) The puppet
show is going on in the background and is annoying the character trying to talk
in the foreground (maybe it was Napoleon?). So the character pulls out his
firearm and shoots the puppet! It was kind of funny in a Monty Pythonish kind of

way.
