We experience what you describe pretty much on a daily basis only on a microcosm level. How often do parents bring their families to one of our Public performances for $9.50 per person and go on and on about "how wonderful what we are doing is" and "what a great educational experience it is" and "can we travel?" "How much is it to bring to a school?" Now most of our shows are full stage productions utilizing at least 4 members of our company. So, we tell them "$1,200.00" (And this is inexpensive for the size of the production) But immediately, it "Oh, can't you lower your price to come to our school, we are really small" Or "Really, I had no idea how expensive it would be" And these are people who are Lawyers, Dr., People of status, etc. Between track records of success and your insights, it is not a big surprise to see the same style repeated over and over. Thank you for your on point information. Best, K.
