The cast is so clean. 
As is, it looks like it woudn't require much touch up before painting. 
Or, do you plan to cover the entire head with fur fabric? 

Still searching myself for the 'perfect' replacement for Plastic Wood. I like 
to work a head after I've cast it. Right now, for my larger heads, I'm 
carving them from Styrofoam and covering them with paper and glue. So far, I've 
found them to be quite durable. (I might add that I install an interlocking wooden 
armature inside the foam to take the strings and mechanical connections - the 
foam 'floats' on the armature.)
The new Plastic Wood isn't as strong as the old formulation....
I'll keep looking....
