Subject: Re: [Puptcrit] Sculpt or Coat

Sculpt or Coat is ideal for sealing the surface of carved Styrofoam. It
dries fairly hard and is not easy to sand. It seals and strengthens the foam,
which can then be painted, even with spray paint. This makes it popular for prop
shops. Spray paint would dissolve unsealed Styrofoam. Carving pink or blue
insulation Styrofoam from the home improvement store, sealing with Sculpt or
Coat, and painting, makes for an easy, inexpensive and light weight puppet or
prop construction. It is fairly durable. You can glue sheets of foam together
with white glue to make heads or large body parts.

Hi
Is any one aware of this product "Sculpt or Coat"? They say it is used
in making props and puppets. http://www.sculpturalarts.com I would be
interested in what you think of the product. It looks like white paste
which dries translucent, flexible and durable. I have not tried it my
self and I have no financial connection to this product.
Thanks
Les
