The high-tech material is sometimes referred to as "frozen smoke" because of it's appearance, and it would make a very ghostly looking puppet. Though it can be shattered like glass under the right circumstances, it is reportedly quite strong for its weight - it's main drawback being it's expense. Here are a few links... http://www.unitednuclear.com/aerogel.htm http://images.google.com/images?q=aerogel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerogel It looks like cool stuff - but maybe not as cool as making ice sculpture marionettes... :-) Ron Glasgow Cumming GA USA _______________________________________________ List address: puptcrit-AT-lists.driftline.org Admin interface: http://lists.driftline.org/listinfo.cgi/puptcrit-driftline.org Archives: http://www.driftline.org
