You ,Puppeteers are the best! Thanks for your
suggestions. I will be off and running to try out the
different possibilities.  The puppet is a rod table
puppet.

My husband (not a puppeteer) thought of a whoopy
cushion but I told him the sound efects would be a
little too graphic even for me. :)
