What material are you using to make the molds of the actors faces? I am just wondering because I have used alginate and moulage in the past and want to know what others prefer, and where to get more. I have to do masks for a production in a few weeks. As for your question about sealing the plaster, in thepast i have used a thin layer of vaseline, or nothing at all. If you rae not using vaseline, it helps if the plaster is somewhat wet (wet surface before sculpting) so that the oil based plastalina resists.
