I wish you the best of luck in finding that fabric. I wanted something similar a few years back, but for puppet costumes, and I found nothing, even after going to at least 12 good fabric stores. Nothing even came close. Most told me the same thing, they used to carry it, but fashion being what it is, they stopped carrying it. Some classics should never die. I had to make it myself, which was a pain, since I am not fluent with dyes. So I hand painted the lines one by one, over lines I traced beforehand. Yikes!
