It is used for awnings and if you look for it at the wrong time of year here where I am (NY) you will not find it in any fabric stores. I have seen it in both green/white and red/white striped treated canvas. May not be the right style for awnings in Puerto Rico, but you might be able to get it from a supplier in the states when the weather gets warmer. Just my 2 cents.
