In New York City, the big Plastic dealers all carry it in various 
thicknesses. Unfortunately, the best of them, Industrial Plastics  
vanished from Canal Street last year. There is a place called "Plastic 
World" on Church Street (one block south of Canal) that stocks it, both 
transparent and frosted.
