I had many very happy years with Lettie...and Gage, her husband...
...and  was part of their wedding party...

I spent days and countless evenings working at  "Happy 
Things"...their shop in North Beach...sometimes doing puppet shows in 
the window...
but always out on the street watching when Lettie did her famous 
routines with George, the charming dog puppet she created...

One year Gage, Lettie and I went to the Beaux Arts Ball...as the Pied 
Piper and two mice...
Gage is well over six feet tall..and was the Piper...Lettie and I 
made great mice costumes and heads...

we swept the awards...LOL

Lettie and I did two wonderful puppet shows at the San Francisco 
Museum of Modern
art..."Aladdin"...and Beauty and the Beast"

...so many happy memories...
