Subject: [Puptcrit] In Memoriam for Lettie

Hi Alan,

Thank you for the news on Lettie's Memorial. I believe we should try to
print a tribute to her in the Spring Journal, which should go to print
around the first week of May. So many want to express their feelings about
her -- her contributions to puppetry, of course, but Lettie as a lifelong
friend. I have a piece already from Randal Metz (and a photo of Lettie as
Mrs. Witherspoon) and today received a short and heartfelt tribute from
Lewis Mahlmann -- he seems to be feeling his own mortality.

If I have to bump an article or two from Spring to Summer, it would be
entirely appropriate.

Can we confer? May I call you some time on Friday?

Paul
