The ones I bought are the smaller mit, not the big long one. The big one is too stiff, and would tire the puppeteer's wrists quickly. Unless you want a bodybuilding "training puppet". Who wants bulgy wrists that look fake? LoL. I was so concentrated on details and technical aspects that I forgot one important thing: These silicone pot holders are already infused with the CUTENESS FACTOR. Something about the shape(cute narrow little lower jaw, iwdth of the upper jaw), the proportions, and the cute, almost wooden sound the "beak" makes when you close the jaw "snapishly". surprisingly, not plastic-y, more like a wooden sound. I also see that if you pinch the upper jaw at the top and back, you can make the glove more snug, and embed a subtle smile in the mouth. For a permanent fix, I think rivets might work.
